Can you put an aftermarket exhaust system on a hybrid car?

To install the system, first, remove the front bumper coverings on both sides of the car. Next, remove the screws that hold the rear bumper coverings in place. Finally, remove the rear bumper coverings.
  4. Now that the coverings are off of the car, it’s time to start installing your new exhaust system. ‘
    1. First, attach the hanger bracket to both sides of the engine bay using screws and washers (see diagram below). Make sure that the hanger bracket is level before attaching it to the engine bay.
    2. Next, install the muffler assembly onto one end of the hanger bracket using bolts and washers (see diagram below).
    3. Next, install metal clamps onto each end of the muffler assembly to secure it in place (see diagram below).
    4. Finally, install muffler wrap-around brackets onto each side of the muffler assembly (see diagram below). 
  5. Once all of these steps are complete, reinstall front bumper coverings by reversing these steps:
    1. first, loosen metal clamps and then remove them;
    2. next loosen screws and then remove them;
    3. finally, replace screws and washers as needed before reattaching the front bumper covering.
  6. Reinstall rear bumper coverings in reverse order-
    1. first, tighten metal clamps then remove them;
    2. next, tighten screws then replace washers as needed before reattaching the rear bumper covering.
